The dining room and kitchen
The dining room is the heart of the cottage. The large table seats six and there is also a comfortable sofa. On the dining room shelves is a diverse collection of books and a selection of toys and games for our smaller guests. The dining room opens on to the kitchen. On warm days french windows can be opened onto the small private yard.
The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering (although Chester has a wealth of places to eat within easy walking distance!). The kitchen facilities include a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/drier. We provide our guests with milk and butter in the fridge and a welcome basket with fresh bread, coffee, tea and biscuits to help them unwind after their journey.
